Boot Advocaten advises the energy operator on the design, development, acquisition and exploitation of sustainable energy.

 

HOSPITAL  LIMBURG

An Energy Service Company was assisted by Boot Advocaten in tendering for a thermal energy storage system in a hospital. For this successful tender, the contracts and articles of association have been drawn up for innovative forms of cooperation: an energy cooperative.

Transition electricity grids to closed distribution system or direct line

Boot Advocaten advises an owner of a number of power plants on the strategy to be followed as a result of the amendment to the Electricity Act of 20 July 2012. This mainly concerns the question of whether the associated power grids can be regarded as direct lines or whether as a closed distribution system. Boot Advocaten assists in drawing up the necessary applications, but also advises on possible technical adjustments to obtain the most appropriate status.   

PROJECT SASSEMBOURG

Boot Advocaten advises and assists Woonstichting De Progress in the tendering and contracting of the Sassembourg project. This residential care project consists of the realization of 91 rental and owner-occupied homes, a parking garage and the construction and/or operation of the ATES. Heat and cold are supplied by a thermal storage system. Boot Advocaten supervised the tender and developed an organizational structure in which the owner, Esco and a management company are linked in the most optimal legal and fiscal manner. For this purpose, all contacts have also been drawn up in which this collaboration is laid down in an innovative manner, including a DBFMO contract in which both the realization of the ATES and the operation for a period of 30 years is properly arranged. 

 

Sustainable energy certification

Boot Advocaten advises on the certification of energy from renewable sources at both national and European level. In addition, Boot Advocaten cooperates with all changes in national regulations in this area, such as the “Stroom” project.

 

NUON EEMSHAVEN

Boot Advocaten supervised the discussions between the parties and drew up the contracts for this complex project. A new power station in Eemshaven. This power station is based on the so-called multi-fuel concept. This is a concept in which several types of fuels such as gas, biomass and coal can be used. This plant will serve as a model for the new generation of power plants. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. will supply the turbines.

 

Environmental Quality of Electricity Production (Mep subsidy)

During the term of the MEP (Environmental Quality of Electricity Production) subsidy for electricity from renewable sources, Boot Advocaten served as the secretariat of the appeals committee.

 

SUSTAINABLE LIGHTING CITY HALL THE HAGUE

Boot Advocaten has conducted a tendering procedure on behalf of an installer about the award of a project for sustainable lighting of the town hall.

 

MUNICIPALITY OF ZANDVOORT/LOUIS DAVIDSCARRÉ

The Louis Davidscarré project is being realized near the center of Zandvoort. It concerns the design and realization of a public underground parking garage with buildings and layout of public spaces above it. The buildings include a Community School with educational functions of a public and a special primary school with an extra room, a children's centre, two playgroups, a public library, Zandvoort care desk, socio-cultural areas, a sports hall, various communal areas and the design of (semi-)public space on the parking roof. . In addition to commercial spaces, approximately 170 owner-occupied and rental homes are being built in various market segments.

Boot Advocaten provides full advice and implementation of the tender, contracting in the field of cooperation and construction (including contract annexes), and the transfer and establishment of rights in rem and land in close cooperation with civil-law notaries, tax specialists and architectural consultants. Boot Advocaten advises on the parallel tendering of the realization and management of the alternative energy supply, which must also be incorporated into the entire tendering process. Alternative planning should also be taken into account due to the construction of private land positions near the project. Boot Advocaten is closely involved in selecting the developers and assessing the tenders. Administrative law processes are also followed.

MUNICIPALITY OF TILBURG/RAIL ZONE

Boot Advocaten supervised the tender and the contracting after the tender of master plan “De Werkplaats”. This plan forms the basis for the Spoorzone core area. The basic program offers a minimum of 220,000 m² of development, divided into 150,000 m² of living, 25,000 m² of work, 20,000 m² of catering, 10,000 m² of culture, 60,000 m² of education, 10,000 m² of commercial facilities and 5,000 m² of other facilities. In the coming years, the area will be redeveloped into a high-quality central urban location with homes, offices and educational, cultural and leisure facilities. In 2010, a developer was selected as a partner through a tender procedure to draw up a master plan for the area together with the municipality of Tilburg. The selection and award criteria were innovative and led to a successful tender for a large-scale area development.

 

MUNICIPALITY OF HAARLEMMERMEER/PROJECT PARK 20/20

Boot Advocaten is assisting the municipality with the tender for the Park 20/20 project. This will be an innovative, ecological and sustainable office park in Hoofddorp. The application of recyclable building materials, the application of solar and wind energy, water purification and energy from waste and advanced technology using heat and cold storage form a solid basis at Park 20/20, whereby the most optimal solutions are continuously sought within the framework. of corporate social responsibility.

 

MUNICIPALITY OF PIJNACKER – NOOTDORP / BOEZEM II

Boot Advocaten assisted the municipality of Pijnacker-Nootdorp in the development of the new Boezem II business park. Boot Advocaten advises the municipality with regard to the ATES facility and the infrastructure to be constructed in the field of tendering law, administrative law and contract law, and with regard to allotment and land allocation in the field of contract law.

St. Georgeweg Delft

Boot Advocaten advises GGZ Delfland on the relocation of buildings and new construction with 140 places at the St. Jorisweg location in Delft. A completely new clinic with a floor area of 8,858 m² is being built on the grounds of GGZ Delfland on St. Jorisweg in Delft. This project will be built sustainably and will use energy-efficient installations. Boot Advocaten advises GGZ Delfland on the realization of this project.
