mr. Dick Visser

Dick Visser has been working as a tax specialist since 1979, after a short period in education. He started at the tax authorities, but since 1991 he has been associated with various tax consultancy firms. From 1993 to 1997 he studied tax law at the University of Amsterdam.

Dick specializes in the technical department of the tax authorities in:

• sales tax,

• transfer tax and

• VAT compensation fund.
   

He has a lot of experience with tax issues in large and small municipalities and the related aspects of cooperation. He can also boast of expertise in the tax supervision of cooperation vehicles at large development locations.

Dick is known for his sound advice and is characterized by clients as fast, reliable and creative, someone who knows how to think outside the box. Dick works for municipalities, provinces and the national government, but also for parties such as housing corporations, project developers and healthcare institutions. He is able to interpret the interests of all parties and thus prevents unnecessary differences of opinion between those involved about taxation.

Side activities

Dick is an experienced teacher who is able to explain complex tax issues in clear language. He has taught at the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB), the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Administrative Academy, among others, and frequently provides in-house training. Dick is also affiliated with a tax consultancy firm that specializes in tax advice for public bodies.
