About the event

Bouwen met Staal is organizing the course “Legal aspects for the constructor” again this year in collaboration with Boot Advocaten. mr. Alexandra Jurgens-Boot is a permanent lecturer and will discuss contract formation, general terms and conditions and (chain) liabilities on 24 and 31 March and 7, 14 and 21 April.   Based on practice, questions such as 'Who is liable for the failure of a connection when the manufacturer has left the detailed calculations to the builder' and 'How should the risk of the corona pandemic be taken into account? are answered in contracts.

The course is intended for designers, engineers, (drawing) constructors, project managers and employees of inspection authorities. In short, anyone who plays a role in the construction process (particularly on the design side) and wants to know their legal position. The Register of Constructors awards the student 3 points for following this course.
